“Good packaging should not be a privilege of big brands.”

Why we build this

Makan Box started with a stall owner asking why a decent box cost more than the meal inside it.

Packaging is the first thing a customer touches and the last thing most small kitchens can afford to get right. The tools were built for brand teams with structural engineers, not for a kitchen with one laptop.

So we built the smallest possible path from an idea to a printed box: real box structures, sized in the browser to the millimetre, a live 3D preview, and an honest price at the end of it.

Everything else we make is judged against that path. If it does not shorten it, it does not ship.

What is Makan Box?

Makan Box is a custom packaging storefront. Pick a box style, type your product’s dimensions, and the dieline — the flat cut-and-crease layout a factory works from — regenerates for that exact size and board.

You see the box fold in 3D as you work, upload artwork that is checked against your actual panels, and pay a price computed from the real geometry. Orders freeze their full specification, so what you approved is what gets made — this year or next.
