Packaging for hawker stalls and pasar malam
Hawker food in Singapore and Malaysia is packed fast: a box of kuih, a packet of noodles, a cup of kopi, handed over in seconds. Packaging has to be quick to fill and cheap enough to use on every order.
Makan Box started with a stall owner asking why a decent box cost more than the meal inside it. For stalls, the boxes we draw online are kuih boxes, pastry boxes and sleeves; cups, noodle boxes, bags, sachets and tingkat are part of the range and quoted on request.
